Our family is incredibly grateful for the love, kindness, and support we have received since Sandra’s passing.

Friends, teachers, students, coworkers, family members, and people from different chapters of Sandra’s life have stepped forward in ways we will never forget.

We are especially thankful for everyone helping us launch The Sandra Stevenson Legacy of Imagination and continue the things Sandra cared so deeply about: books, art, creativity, curiosity, kindness, and helping children feel seen.

This effort is beginning with the schools and educators closest to Sandra’s teaching career, but we hope it will continue to grow.

Our goal is not to limit Sandra’s Legacy to one school or one project.

We want to continue finding meaningful ways to put books, art, imagination, and kindness into the hands of children and communities that mattered to her.
